Welcome to Edmonds Eye Associates. Drs. Scott and Susan Edmonds started the practice in the early 1980s combining their unique individual experience at Lankenau Hospital and Wills Eye Hospital. Their mission was to bring the lessons of specialized tertiary eye care to a community based location. With experience in glaucoma, pre and post op cataract care, retina and cornea, the all the doctors of the Edmonds Eye Associates team continue to work closely with the surgical teams at Wills. With an emphasis on prevention and early detection, the primary care eye examination will set the course for a life time of good vision. The practice also has a unique perspective on the long term management of complex eye and vision problems. Macular degeneration, keratoconus, and vision loss from diabetic retinopathy and advance glaucoma are typical problems that can be managed with a combination of specialty contact lenses, prism, magnification and rehabilitation. The latest program to be added is vision based neuro rehabilitation for concussion, stroke and acquired brain injury.
